Happy Fathers’ Day to all fathers, pastors, husbands, mentors, and big brothers who serve as fathers to their siblings!

 

Fathers, Thank you:

 

• For loving God with all your heart and soul and standing as a beacon of light for your beliefs.
• For being a father of integrity, morality, faithfulness, and a man of your word.
• For spending quality time with us even though your work schedule was very demanding.
• For making us your priority more than anything else, even sometimes yourself.
• For nurturing us with gentleness, kindness, patience, and love.
• For holding us in your lap when our hearts were broken, or we felt afraid.
• For speaking blessings over us with kindness and assurance rather than harshness or humiliation.
• For believing in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves.
• For wanting the best for us when we made poor choices and wanted to just settle for second best.
• For disciplining us with grace when we wanted to do life, “our way.”
• For protecting us from poor judgment and giving us wise counsel.
• For loving us when we felt unlovable because of our past mistakes.
• For valuing us and making us feel special when we didn’t feel we deserved it.
• For listening to us when we were overwhelmed by emotions and fears; sometimes our words didn’t make sense.
• For always telling us the truth even when we pretended to ignore you and believed a lie.
• For praying for us when our hearts were hardened to the truth, and we went astray.
• For telling us how special we are and how much you love us; your words to us are priceless.
• For always being there for us with outstretched arms no matter how ugly we have acted or treated you. WE KNOW YOU LOVE US, UNCONDITIONALLY!

 

I am in awe of the children whose fathers fulfill their roles in their lives; you are blessed beyond measure! Some of us were not fortunate enough to have an earthly father to attend to our needs. But we all have a Heavenly Father who lives within us, and He is our PERFECT FATHER! HE IS OUR ABBA, PAPA, AND DADDY living within us 24 hours a day! 

 

 

ABBA, You are the Father our hearts and souls have always craved and longed for; we are blessed beyond words to be Your children.

 

Every day is Father’s Day in our hearts because of You!  There is no father who can ever be compared to Your love for us. We love You!

 

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so, we are! For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. I John 3:1 (Amplified)
