GRACE WHISPERS – He Knows Me

GRACE WHISPERS

He Knows Me

Grace Whispers: know you Tresca! You are mine! You were created to live in Me and through Me before I ever put you in your mother’s womb. I have been with you through every dark place. I have pursued you with My loving kindness and tender mercies. You are mine FOREVER! I love you, Jesus!

My new book, “My Return Home to Innocence,” (found on Amazon), Chapter 11 entitled, “God’s Pursuit.” The chapter begins by stating, “The God who would not let me go.” This chapter describes the final turning point in my life when I surrendered my soul and whole heart to the Lord. I was tired of running, hiding, and evading His Love for me. Surely Goodness and Mercy had been in hot pursuit of me, all the days of my life.”

God was everywhere, in everything, and everyone I was coming in contact with. He was wearing me out! Where could I run or hide and I didn’t feel the tugging of His love at me? This chapter reveals my amazing testimony of how my Lord apprehended me. HE KNEW JUST HOW TO HEDGE ME IN ON EVERY SIDE… HE KNEW ME! Does that sound familiar? Yes, David had come to the same conclusion in Psalm 139:1-17 in the Amplified version. He said over and over again, “Lord You KNOW ME.”

1 Oh Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me.

2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up [my entire life, everything I do]; You understand my thoughts from afar.

You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and You are intimately acquainted with all my ways.

Even before there is a word on my tongue [still unspoken]behold, O Lord, You know it all.

You have enclosed me behind and before, and [You have] placed Your hand upon me.

Such [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is too high [above me], I cannot reach it.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead), behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea.

10 Even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will take hold of me.

11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will cover me, and the night will be the only light around me.”

12 Even the darkness is not dark to You and conceals nothing from You, but the night shines as bright as the daydarkness and light are alike to You.

13 For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.

14 I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your worksand my soul knows it very well.

15 My frame was not hidden from You. When I was being formed in secret, and intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth.

16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were written ALL the days that were appointed for me when as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].

17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

There is so much to talk about in this Psalm because it describes the course of my life and for some, may be the course of your life. But, there is one particular verse of scripture which stands out for this blog, found in verse 16, “Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in YOUR BOOK (your register, the daily accounts of my life, the scroll You wrote) were written ALL the days that were appointed for me when as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].

As many of you know, I have written four books, three of which are children’s Picture Books. Picture Books can be challenging because I had to take my thoughts and ideas from an adult perspective and translate them in a way that my readers ages 3-9 could understand. In the format of writing a Picture Book, the author must consider:

1. The Main Character personality, physical features, strengths, weaknesses, attitudes, and any challenges in their environments that may affect who they are and how it would impact the storyline.

2. The Plot what is going on in the main character’s life and what is the goal or outcome to resolve it.

3. Attempts – these are ways the main character will try to resolve their challenges but fail.

4. Unexpected Solution a solution comes into their life to help them resolve it or they find the solution through much seeking and diligence.

5. Their Life Changes the solution they discovered changes their lives and the circumstance or challenge they were dealing with.

As the author of the books I have written, I know my intent for my characters are always for their good. When thinking of the storyline, I always have a HAPPY ENDING IN MIND. My heart for the main character is for them to face their challenges and to trust I want the very best for them, and though, they may have difficulties through the pages of the book, they WILL discover through the pages of the book, strength and courage they never knew they had.

You and I are the main characters written in the book of the Lord, written with tears and love… never in fear or disgust. But do you believe that? What can you tell me about the author of your book? He is the ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS YOU! As He turns the pages of your life each day, can you see or sense His heart in the challenges you face on each page? Do you see the challenges written in your life, even though they may feel painful or appear evil, but His intent is ALWAYS TO WORK THEM OUT FOR OUR GOOD? As the authors of our book, our Papa and Lord LONG for us to KNOW their hearts too! They LONG for us to understand their ways and purposes. To do so, we must turn to them moment by moment, the Ones who live and sit on the Throne of our Hearts; the place we invited them to live FOREVER.

Our Papa and Lord Jesus, knew each of us before time ever began. They already knew the pain we would encounter in this life and that’s why Jesus pinned every page of our lives with His blood so by trusting IN HIM and relying upon Him, the pages, though difficult, will always end in triumph and victory; even if not in this world, but in the world to come.

FOR IT IS WRITTEN… OUR LORD KNOWS YOU AND HE KNOWS ME! WE CAN TRUST IN THEIR WORDS AND IN THEIR LOVE WE CAN SAFELY REST!
