FINDING THE MEANING OF LIFE HIDDEN IN CHRIST
MY FINAL BLOG POST
It has been my honor and privilege to have shared part of my journey with you over the years. You have witnessed my challenges as our Lord Jesus Christ healed and transformed my soul in suffering, pain, loss, and many blessings. He is not finished with me! However, this segment of our journey is completed.
In the past, I have tried to find value, significance, and purpose in so many ways. I finally discovered the things of this world only pacify the soul with momentary pleasures and can never satisfy it. However, our gracious Father uses everything in our lives to draw our minds, wills, and emotions inwardly to Him when we allow Him to do so.
Colossians 3:1-3 in the Amplified Bible has become more precious to me than ever before. It reads:
1 Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].
3 For you died [to this world], and your [NEW, REAL] LIFE IS HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD.
MY LIFE IS HIDDEN IN CHRIST, WITH GOD
After searching desperately to make sense of life, my soul is now anchored in the heart of God! Also, my soul can rest from all its labors of trying to find value and purpose from outward things, peoples’ applauses, ministry, and activities. And finally, my spirit and soul can enjoy Christ MY LIFE and live forever from His love and LIFE as He fulfills the desires of His Heart through us!
May the peace and grace of God be yours forever!
