I want to share a blog from my precious sister, Jan Loyd, at abranchinthevine.com. It is a perfect reminder of where we are always hidden… UNDER HIS WINGS. Just stay still and abide IN HIM. Nothing touches us or harms us unless our Father allows for His perfectly designed purposes.

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28 AMP)

WE ARE FOREVER UNDER HIS WINGS

When in the deepest of troubles…when there is no consolation or comfort…go to the sacred place where you and the Lord live together and nothing can touch you…the place of union with our God through Jesus Christ by faith (Colossians 2:9-10 ESV)…and REST in Him who RESTS in you (John 17:20-23 ESV)!

Hide me in the Shadow of Your Wings. (Psalm 17:8b)

How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the Shadow of Your Wings. (Psalm 36:7)

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in You my soul takes refuge; in the Shadow of Your Wings I will take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by. (Psalm 57:1)

Let me dwell in Your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the Shelter of Your Wings!  Selah (Psalm 61:4)

He will cover you with His pinions, and Under His Wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. (Psalm 91:4)

Some of us may handle our circumstances in our strength or by adhering to fear but hear the heart of our Lord Jesus to us:

“How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!” (Matthew 23:37b)

Rest assured, amidst the darkness encompassing us, our Lord’s grace and life are abundant within us… AS WE ABIDE UNDER HIS WINGS!
