Jesus told us,\u00a0<em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the world, you will have tribulations and to be of good cheer because I have overcome the world.<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=5437\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5437\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5437\" src=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-Overcome-the-World.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1025\" height=\"693\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-Overcome-the-World.jpg 1025w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-Overcome-the-World-300x203.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-Overcome-the-World-768x519.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-Overcome-the-World-399x270.jpg 399w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1025px) 100vw, 1025px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>John 16:33,\u00a0<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Jesus said to be of\u00a0<strong>\u201cgood cheer\u201d<\/strong> not because of trials but because He overcame them ALL for us. Our brother, James, had a remarkably similar response to trials and tribulations in our lives. Let\u2019s examine his words to us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">James Chapter 1:2-8 from the Amplified Version of the Bible says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Testing of Our Faith Produces Perseverance and Endurance<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><sup>2<\/sup> Consider it nothing but\u00a0<strong>joy<\/strong>, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various\u00a0<strong>trials<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong><sup>3<\/sup><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Be assured that the\u00a0<strong>testing of your faith<\/strong>\u00a0[<em>through experience<\/em>]\u00a0<strong>produces endurance<\/strong>\u00a0[<em>leading to spiritual maturity and inner peace].\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Our\u00a0<strong>faith <\/strong>in our Lord Jesus grows when we turn to Him in our moments of need or desperation. Testing of our\u00a0<strong>faith<\/strong>\u00a0asks one question,\u00a0<em>\u201cWill I trust the Lord or not?\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Our\u00a0<strong>faith <\/strong>matures into\u00a0<strong>endurance<\/strong>\u00a0when we walk through each trial we face with confidence and assurance that our Lord Jesus is Victorious over\u00a0<strong>ALL situations<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bring Us into Maturity in Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><sup>4<\/sup><\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">And let\u00a0<strong>endurance have its perfect result<\/strong>\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0<strong>do a thorough work<\/strong>, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [<em>in your faith<\/em>], lacking in nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> We must learn to stay focused on our Lord and\u00a0<strong>embrace<\/strong> our trials without murmuring, complaining, or running away from them. Through trials, our Lord teaches us how to remain dependent on Him instead of the strategies of the\u00a0<em>flesh\u00a0<\/em>we have learned living from our own resources.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">We Obtain Wisdom from God<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><sup>5<\/sup><\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If any of you\u00a0<strong>lacks wisdom<\/strong>\u00a0[<em>to guide him through a decision or circumstance<\/em>], he is to ask of [<em>our benevolent<\/em>] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke\u00a0<em>or<\/em>\u00a0blame, and it will be given to him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> When we don\u2019t know what to do, we should ask the Lord, who willingly and freely wants to show us what to do and how to handle every situation <em>through<\/em> us.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><sup>6<\/sup><\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">But he must ask [<em>for wisdom<\/em>]\u00a0<strong>in faith<\/strong>, without doubting [<em>God\u2019s willingness to help<\/em>], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> When our Lord gives us direction, we must trust Him and believe Him. The enemy wants us to <i>doubt and<\/i>\u00a0intimidate us with\u00a0<em>fear\u00a0<\/em>so that the will of the Lord goes unfulfilled in our lives.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><sup>7<\/sup><\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For such a person ought not to think\u00a0<em>or<\/em>\u00a0expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord<strong>, <\/strong><strong><sup>8<\/sup><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">being<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">double-minded man<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">unstable\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>and<\/strong><\/span><\/em><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0restless in all his ways<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0[<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> If we doubt the wisdom of God after He has shown us more than one time what to do, we <i>may become<\/i>\u00a0stuck in that area of our lives until we are willing to submit totally to God, deny the\u00a0<em>flesh,<\/em>\u00a0and trust in the perfect wisdom of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=5438\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5438\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5438\" src=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-in-the-Fire-1024x647.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"404\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-in-the-Fire-1024x647.png 1024w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-in-the-Fire-300x190.png 300w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-in-the-Fire-768x485.png 768w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-in-the-Fire-427x270.png 427w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Jesus-in-the-Fire.png 1264w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Like all our brothers and sisters who have finished their appointed course in life, trials and tribulations\u00a0<em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">will\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">come into our lives. They come to test our faith, bring us into spiritual maturity, and obtain wisdom from God. They also teach us to neglect the ways of the world and the\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">flesh to\u00a0<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">remain faithful to our Lord.
