{"id":5405,"date":"2022-03-26T09:33:15","date_gmt":"2022-03-26T13:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/?p=5405"},"modified":"2022-03-26T10:05:13","modified_gmt":"2022-03-26T14:05:13","slug":"the-lord-is-my-life-zoe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/the-lord-is-my-life-zoe\/","title":{"rendered":"THE LORD IS MY LIFE (ZOE)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As I was reflecting on all the beautiful things my Lord is to me, I came up with just a few of them:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Savior<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Redeemer<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Good Shepherd<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Safe Place<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Healer<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Friend<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Peace<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Joy<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Beloved<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Protector<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Bread of Life<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Holiness<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Righteousness<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Wisdom<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is My Supplier of All of My Needs<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>My list can go on and on, so I will stop for now. When I think about who my Lord Jesus is, I can sum it up in one word, <strong>\u201cLIFE!\u201d<\/strong> It sounds elementary, and yes, it is, but when I thought about all the scriptures that talked about this one word, <strong>\u201cLife,\u201d<\/strong> I was in awe!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The word\u00a0<em>life<\/em>\u00a0in the Bible has more than one meaning. The first one is,<em>\u201d psyche\u201d<\/em>\u00a0means to raise, to breathe or life to the soul. It is our humanity, heart, and being. We get the word psychology from this word, which is the study of mind and behavior. But then there is the word\u00a0<strong>\u201cZoe\u201d<\/strong> it is a vastly different kind of life.\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0means, \u201c<strong>As<\/strong> <strong>THE\u00a0Life as God Has it<\/strong>.\u201d Another way of putting it,<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201c<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0<em>is the Divine Life of God that gives everyone and everything their purpose and meaning for being.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=5407\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5407\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5407\" src=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Zoe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Zoe.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Zoe-300x116.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Zoe-768x298.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Zoe-604x234.jpg 604w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zoe is the life breathed into man in the beginning when he became a\u00a0<em>living<\/em>\u00a0<em>psyche<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Zoe is the life our Father has in Himself.<\/li>\n<li>Zoe is the life our Father gave to Jesus Christ when He became a man.<\/li>\n<li>Zoe is the life we lost in the garden when Adam chose to live life on his terms.<\/li>\n<li>Zoe is Eternal and Everlasting life without end.<\/li>\n<li>Jesus laid down His <em>psyche on the cross,<\/em> but Zoe is eternal and could never die.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You and I were born dead without\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>. Even though we breathe, can see, and have our faculties, our spirits were dead and void of\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(His Divine Life<\/em>). However, when we gave our lives\u00a0<em>(psyche)<\/em>\u00a0to Jesus Christ, He came into our dead spirits and gave us His\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0again! We are no longer just alive, but we have <strong>God\u2019s Divine Life; the Life with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit living <em>within us<\/em>. We get to live from God&#8217;s Divine Economy; the Riches of Himself forever<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The following scriptures from the Amplified Bible shed light on\u00a0<strong>Zoe\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0meaning.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Rich Young Ruler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>16\u00a0<\/sup>And someone came to Him and said, \u201cTeacher, what [essentially] good thing shall I do to obtain\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0[that is, eternal salvation in the Messiah\u2019s kingdom]?\u201d\u00a0<strong>Matthew 19:16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>(He was a rich man so he thought he could buy <strong>Zoe<\/strong>.<strong> Zoe<\/strong> is a FREE GIFT to all those who receive Jesus Christ).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Zoe is Never Found in the Things We Possess<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>15<\/sup><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Then Jesus said to them, \u201cWatch out and guard yourselves against every form of greed; for not even when one has an overflowing abundance does his\u00a0<strong>Zoe\u00a0<\/strong>consist of\u00a0<em>nor<\/em>\u00a0is it derived from his possessions.\u201d\u00a0<strong>Luke 12:15<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Zoe is in The Person of Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>4<\/sup><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>In Him (Jesus Christ) was\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0[and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. <strong>John 1:4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whoever Believes into Jesus Receives Zoe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>16<\/sup><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>For God so [greatly] loved\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son so that whoever believes\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish but have\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>John 3:16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus Came to Give Us Abundant Zoe Not Merely Earthly Enjoyment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>10 <\/sup>The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0enjoy <b>Zoe and<\/b>\u00a0<strong>have (Zoe) in abundance<\/strong> [to the full, till it overflows].\u00a0<strong>John 10:10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Zoe is Only Found in Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>6<\/sup><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Jesus said to him, \u201cI am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real]\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>; no one comes to the Father but through Me.\u00a0<strong>John 14:6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Our True Zoe is Hidden in Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup>3<\/sup><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>For you died [to this world], and your [new, real]\u00a0<strong>Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0is hidden with Christ in God.\u00a0<strong>Colossians 3:3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Thank you, Jesus, for laying down your psyche to give me your Zoe!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=5406\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5406\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5406\" src=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Jesus-Death-Our-Zoe-1024x651.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Jesus-Death-Our-Zoe-1024x651.png 1024w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Jesus-Death-Our-Zoe-300x191.png 300w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Jesus-Death-Our-Zoe-768x488.png 768w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Jesus-Death-Our-Zoe-425x270.png 425w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Jesus-Death-Our-Zoe.png 1123w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There are many words and titles we can use to describe our Lord Jesus Christ. But the word\u00a0<strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Zoe<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is one word that sums them up for me. I have found everything my soul has ever longed and searched for in Jesus Christ,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">My<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Zoe<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">! Jesus fills our hearts and souls to the brim with His abundant\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Zoe.<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0We can draw from His\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Zoe<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">dwelling within us.<\/span><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Jesus told the woman at the well, \u201cWhen you drink of\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Me<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, you will\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">NEVER<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0thirst again.\u201d I am the woman at the well, and Jesus has and is filling my soul with\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">HIMSELF\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">moment by moment!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align:
