\u201cFor as the heavens are HIGHER than the earth, so are My ways HIGHER than your ways and My thoughts are HIGHER than your thoughts. When I read this scripture, the word \u2018higher\u2019 means\u00a0lofty, soar, and above everything else<\/em>. So, the conclusion is that the way I see life and how I think about life and myself are different from God\u2019s point of view. For me to walk with my Lord and understand His thoughts, I must be transformed or brought to the same place where He dwells to see all things from His perspective. Guess what? Those who put their trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ have been brought\u00a0HOME into the Kingdom of God<\/strong>\u00a0where He lives<\/strong>!<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Look at these scriptures from the Amplified Bible:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n John 3:3\u00a0<\/strong>–\u00a0<\/strong>Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (member of the Sanhedrin) among the Jews,\u00a02<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, \u201cRabbi (Teacher), we know [without any doubt] that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs [these wonders, these attesting miracles] that You do unless God is with him.\u201d\u00a03<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Jesus answered him, \u201cI assure you\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0most solemnly say to you unless a person is born again\u00a0[reborn from above<\/span>\u2014spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified<\/strong>],<\/strong>\u00a0he cannot [ever] see\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0experience the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I Corinthians 15:2<\/strong>\u00a0– By this\u00a0faith<\/em>\u00a0you are saved [reborn from above<\/span>\u2014spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] <\/strong>if\u00a0you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you unless you believed in vain [just superficially and without complete commitment].<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Galatians 3:26<\/strong>\u00a0– For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above<\/span>\u2014spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and<\/strong>]\u00a0are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We are NEW<\/strong>,\u00a0born again from above<\/span><\/strong>,<\/span>\u00a0recreated in Christ Jesus, seated in a heavenly place with Him<\/strong>. So, if this is true, why do I feel, think, or act evil, fleshly, or sinful? I am so glad you asked. This illustration below may help.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n You may recall from our previous blogs we are created with three parts.\u00a0<\/p>\n Spirit<\/strong> (NEW Man<\/em>, perfect, complete, whole<\/em>)\u00a0<\/p>\n Soul\u00a0<\/strong>(mind, will, emotions, personality<\/em> –\u00a0being renewed and brought into conformity with our New Man in Christ<\/strong>)<\/p>\n Body <\/strong>(hearing<\/em>, seeing, smelling, tasting, touching <\/em>– we will receive<\/strong> a new body when we leave this life<\/strong>).<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We live in a body where\u00a0Sin still dwells<\/strong>. Also, in trying to manage life without depending on or trusting God, we have learned many ways and techniques to get what we want and to control our environment, called the flesh<\/em>. Moment by moment, we make choices with our\u00a0mind and will<\/em>\u00a0whether we will get our answers and needs met from\u00a0Christ our Life<\/strong>\u00a0in the Kingdom of God<\/strong>\u00a0or experience\u00a0death<\/em> when we turn to the flesh<\/em> or Sin<\/strong>\u00a0who rules in the\u00a0Kingdom of Darkness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
