\u00a0<\/p>\n
Because of man\u2019s sin in the Garden, his spirit<\/em> died, which means he was no longer able to enjoy the very Life and intimacy with God<\/strong>. Man chose eternal death<\/em> when he ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Jesus came to restore to man, His Eternal Life, and intimacy with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. <\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Death<\/strong> is defined as the absence of<\/strong> Life and Light<\/strong>. John, Chapter 1, in the Amplified version of the Bible gives us more clarity.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n John 1:1-5 <\/strong>– In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God.\u00a03\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>All things were made\u00a0and\u00a0came into existence through Him, and without Him, not even one thing was made that has come into being.\u00a04\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>In Him was Life<\/strong> [and the power to bestow life],<\/strong> and the Life was the Light of men.<\/strong>\u00a05\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>The Light<\/strong> shines on in the\u00a0darkness, and the darkness did not understand it\u00a0or\u00a0overpower it\u00a0or\u00a0appropriate it\u00a0or\u00a0absorb it [and is unreceptive to it].<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Because of man\u2019s sin and disobedience, we were all born spiritually dead,<\/em> without Life and Spiritual Light,<\/strong> even though we were alive walking, breathing, and communicating.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Romans 5:14<\/strong> – <\/em>Yet death <\/strong>ruled [over mankind] from\u00a0Adam<\/strong>\u00a0to Moses<\/strong> [the Lawgiver], even over those who had not sinned as\u00a0Adam\u00a0did.\u00a0Adam\u00a0is a type of Him (Christ) who was to come [but\u00a0in\u00a0reverse\u2014Adam\u00a0brought destruction, Christ brought salvation<\/strong>].
