God was constantly punishing them for their sins. The message appeared to be of judgment and doom. But at the same time, He was reaching out to them to repent and to turn their hearts away from sin to Him. However, our Father knew man was weak in his strength to obey the laws He required and to resist the power of sin, that\u2019s why He had a plan to free him.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As we look around at this <em>fallen world<\/em>, sin rules through the hearts of mankind everywhere. Not only in the world but how many of us have felt overwhelmed by sin in our own lives? At different times we believed the Lord could never really love us if we keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Many of us stop praying and talking to the Lord for fear of His <em>rejection<\/em>. We believe He gets tired and weary of our confessions, apologies, and broken promises.\u00a0 At some point we believe, <em>\u201cOur Sins are Greater than Our Lord\u2019s Grace.\u201d <\/em>No, we\u2019ll never admit it but through our trying harder to be good, working harder to prove to Him how sorry we are by fasting, reading the Bible more, helping others, and praying more are all done to say to the Lord, <strong>\u201cI am so sorry, will you still love me?\u201d <\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Old Testament was a message to the Jews but the New Testament was written with the whole world in mind, <em>both Jews and Gentiles<\/em>. It is a message of our Father\u2019s love, mercy, and grace.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Today, I want to share with you a beautiful passage of scripture I hope will remind you just how little your sin is and how <strong>GREAT IS YOUR LORD!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Romans 5:20 (Amplified)<\/strong> &#8211; But the Law came to increase\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0expand [the awareness of] the trespass [by defining and unmasking sin]. <strong>But where sin increased, [God\u2019s remarkable, gracious gift of] Grace [His unmerited favor] has surpassed it\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0increased all the more.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=3229\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3229\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3229\" src=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/If-You-Fall.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"952\" height=\"704\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/If-You-Fall.png 952w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/If-You-Fall-300x222.png 300w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/If-You-Fall-768x568.png 768w, https:\/\/hispreciousgift.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/If-You-Fall-365x270.png 365w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 952px) 100vw, 952px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The King James Version of this scriptures says this: <em>\u201cWhere sin abounds, God\u2019s Grace much more abounds.\u201d<\/em> It means whenever we sin or fail to do what our Father desires for us; when we act independently of the Lord and follow the <em>flesh<\/em>; we feel convicted\u2026 which is good, then we are to turn to the Lord who <em>lives within us and say,<\/em> <em>\u201cLord I am sorry for whatever we did or believed.\u201d<\/em> He forgave us for <strong>ALL<\/strong> of our sins over 2000 years ago when He bore every last one of them on the cross.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sin, makes us feel like we have been abandoned by the Lord. It makes us feel isolated, depressed, and overwhelmed like this is the end. Always remember, we have a Lord and Savior whose name is <strong>Grace and Love<\/strong>! He promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us! He promised He will remain <strong>FAITHFUL<\/strong> to us even if we are faithless.
