I don\u2019t know about you but I received a message via text stating,\n\u201cGod sent plagues in the land of Egypt\nyears ago as judgment and today He is sending the Coronavirus to judge us.\u201d The\nmessage went on to say, \u201cBecause men worship sports, money, and other things\nmore than God; He is tired of it and using the virus making them turn to Him\ninstead.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Finally, it ended with the scripture, 2 Chronicles 7:14 “And My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land. (Amplified). <\/em>\u00a0This scripture was taken out of context<\/em>. It was written under the Old Covenant to Israel as they dedicated Solomon’s Temple to God and had made sacrifices to atone for their sins. The Old Testament was fulfilled and ended<\/em> with the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. It was never intended to be applied to New Covenant believers, HIS PEOPLE<\/strong>, of which Jesus\u2019 blood was shed for the sins of the whole world\u2026 ALL of our sins have been forgiven!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


What do you think about this message? Many preachers and teachers are stating how the whole world is under God\u2019s judgment. Is this true? Of course, the whole world is chaotic, lost, hopeless, and in fear but our Father is here in the midst of it all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Well, let\u2019s see what the scriptures say about the judgment of God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


1 Peter 3:18 (Amplified)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For indeed Christ died for sins ONCE FOR ALL<\/strong>, the Just\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0Righteous for the unjust\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0unrighteous [the Innocent for the\u00a0guilty<\/strong>] so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 5: 6-17\n(Amplified)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


6<\/sup> <\/sup><\/strong>While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation], at the right time CHRIST DIED<\/strong> [as a substitute] for the ungodly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


7 <\/sup><\/strong>Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


8<\/sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But God clearly shows\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED<\/strong> FOR US<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


9<\/sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Therefore, since we have now been justified [declared free of the guilt of sin] <\/strong>by HIS BLOOD, [how much more certain is it that] we will be saved from the\u00a0wrath\u00a0of God<\/em>\u00a0through Him.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


10<\/sup> <\/sup>For if while we were enemies we were RECONCILED TO GOD through the death of His Son, it is<\/em> much more certain<\/em>, having been reconciled, that we will be saved [from the consequences of sin] by His life [that is, we will be saved because Christ lives today].<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n


11<\/sup> <\/sup><\/strong>Not only that, but we also rejoice in God [rejoicing in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received and<\/em> enjoy our reconciliation [with God].<\/p>\n\n\n\n


12<\/sup> <\/sup>Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people [no one being able to stop it or escape its power]<\/strong> because they all sinned.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n


13<\/sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Sin was in the world before the Law [was given], but sin is not charged when there is no law [against it].\u00a0

ADAM’S SIN OPENED THE DOOR TO, DISEASE, CHAOS, FEAR, AND DESTRUCTION <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


14<\/sup>\u00a0<\/sup>Yet DEATH RULED [over mankind] from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who had not sinned\u00a0as Adam did. Adam is a type of Him (Christ) who was to come. <\/strong> (Disease, earthquakes, sickness, depravity, fear, killing, etc. have been here since Adam sinned.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CHRIST BROUGHT LIFE AND SALVATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


15\u00a0<\/sup>But the FREE GIFT<\/strong> [of God] is not like the trespass [because the gift of grace overwhelms the fall of man]. For if many died by one man\u2019s trespass [Adam\u2019s sin], much more [abundantly] did God\u2019s grace and the gift [that comes] by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to [benefit] the many.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


16<\/sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Nor is the gift [of grace] like\u00a0that which came<\/em>\u00a0through the one who sinned. For, on the one hand, the judgment [following the sin]\u00a0resulted<\/em>\u00a0from one trespass and brought condemnation, but on the other hand, the free gift\u00a0resulted<\/em>\u00a0from many trespasses and brought justification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17\u00a0<\/sup>For if by the trespass of the one (Adam), DEATH REIGNED through the one (Adam), <\/strong>much more\u00a0surely<\/em>\u00a0will those who RECEIVE THE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND THE FREE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS REIGN IN (ETERNAL) LIFE THROUGH THE ONE, JESUS CHRIST. <\/strong>
