When we look at the world around us and even in the Body of Christ, it appears more importance is placed on who man is<\/em>, rather than who Christ is? Our messages are centered on us, how wonderful we are, how amazing we are, and what we can do to improve ourselves, on and on. However, I have found the Bible\u2019s centerpiece in heaven and earth is not centered on man <\/em>at all, but on His Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. <\/strong>He is the one celebrated by all of creation more than man<\/em>. He is talked about, honored, glorified, adored, and focused on more than man<\/em>. King David, who loved God with all of his heart, asked the question about man<\/em> and his role in the universe.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE FIRST ADAM – MAN OVER GOD\u2019S CREATION (OLD TESTAMENT)<\/strong>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 8:3-9 <\/strong>Amplified\n(AMP)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3   <\/sup><\/strong>When I see and<\/em> consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers. The moon and the stars, which You have established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


4   <\/sup>What is man<\/em><\/g> that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


5   <\/sup><\/strong>Yet, You have made him a little lower than God, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


6   <\/sup><\/strong>You made him to<\/g> have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\n7   <\/sup><\/strong>All sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\n8   <\/sup><\/strong>The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes\nthrough the paths of the seas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9   <\/sup><\/strong>O Lord, our Lord, How majestic and<\/em> glorious and<\/em> excellent is YOUR NAME in all the earth<\/strong>!

\u201cWhat is Man?\u201d<\/strong> King David asked the Lord in Psalm 3. King David couldn\u2019t believe the God of the universe and creator of every living thing took such care and interest in human beings, mere mortals, as He did. What an Awesome scripture to reflect on! I know mankind is important, but I asked the Lord, \u201cIs Man (he\/she) the Centerpiece of God\u2019s Creation?\u201d<\/strong>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many scriptures, God our Father uses the metaphor of Him being the Potter and we being His clay. We are His vessels and children created in different shapes, colors, and genders, but all of us are the same in our humanity<\/em>\u2026 frail, cracked, broken, fickle<\/em>, and lacking true purpose without the Life <\/em>of our Lord. Before Jesus Christ came into our hearts, we were:

\n Dead\n <\/td> Lost <\/td>\n Confused\n <\/td><\/tr>
\n Sinful\n <\/td> Slaves <\/td>\n Hopeless\n <\/td><\/tr>
\n Hateful\n <\/td> Grasping for Life <\/td>\n Hideous.\n <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n

Man Created in Weakness<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n


Man is God\u2019s Creation, His Offspring, His Masterpiece, but is he still the Centerpiece over God\u2019s Creation? The mystery of Man\u2019s True<\/strong> purpose will be revealed in the ages to come in the New Testament, but let\u2019s first look at what happened to the ‘First Man, Adam.’ <\/strong>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Adam sinned, because he disobeyed our Father, he gave his rights and authority over our Father\u2019s creation to sin and the evil one. Sin ruled and reigned over our Father\u2019s creation throughout history because of Adam\u2019s disobedience. Nothing on earth is as our Father first created in the beginning. Everything is out of order, dying, and decaying. But, Jesus Christ, the God-Man<\/strong>, came into the earth as the ‘Last Adam’<\/strong> to regain the rights and authority from sin and the evil one and to restore ALL<\/strong> things back into the order the way our Father intended.

THE LAST ADAM – \u201cJESUS THE CHRIST\u201d RULER OF ALL (NEW TESTAMENT)<\/strong>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philippians 2:8-11 <\/strong>(Amplified) After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man<\/strong> [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 <\/sup>For this reason also [because He obeyed and so completely humbled Himself], God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME (EVEN ADAM), 10 <\/sup>so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 <\/sup>and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord (sovereign God), to the glory of God the Father.<\/strong>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ephesians 1:22-23 <\/strong>(Amplified) And He put ALL THINGS<\/strong> [in every realm] in subjection under CHRIST’S FEET<\/strong>, and APPOINTED HIM<\/strong> as [supreme and authoritative] head over ALL THINGS<\/strong> in the church, 23 <\/sup><\/strong>which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills and<\/em> completes all things in all [believers].

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though man had once been the centerpiece of his world and failed, our Father always had a glorious purpose for His frail, cracked, broken, and fickle<\/em> pots before man ever sinned in the Garden of Eden. He created him for Himself<\/strong>\u2026 as sons and daughters to LOVE<\/strong> and to LIVE IN!<\/strong> Paul saw this greater revelation of man as he penned his revelations in many of his writings in the New Testament. Here is just one of them:

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Corinthians 4:5-7 <\/strong>(Amplified) For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves<\/strong> [merely] as your bond-servants for Jesus\u2019 sake. 6 <\/sup><\/strong>For God, who said, \u201cLet light shine out of darkness,\u201d is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and<\/em> majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the face of Christ.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 <\/sup><\/strong>But we have this PRECIOUS TREASURE THE LIFE OF THE GODHEAD<\/strong> in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty] so that the grandeur and <\/em>surpassing greatness<\/g> of the power<\/strong> will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves.<\/strong>

Man Created in Weakness for Our Father’s Glorious Purpose<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man was Chosen as a Son, a Vessel or Container To Allow the Godhead to Express Themselves in and through Him.<\/strong>

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man<\/g> was NEVER created to be the centerpiece of his world\u2026 Jesus Christ was<\/strong>. But the beautiful thing is, he was created to be a participant<\/em> in Harmony<\/strong> and Union<\/strong> with all His Father created and prepared for His Son Jesus Christ. Whenever man <\/em>looks at himself, the vessel, as being his own source for living and not the<\/em> Life of Christ<\/strong> within Him,<\/strong> or if man<\/em> should ever take his eyes off <\/em>of the Life of Christ within Him<\/strong>, he is:

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n Fearful\n <\/td>\n Worried\n <\/td>\n Hateful\n <\/td><\/tr>
\n Insecure\n <\/td>\n Anxious\n <\/td>\n Striving\n <\/td><\/tr>
\n Struggling\n <\/td>\n Impatient\n <\/td>\n Doubtful.\n <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n


However, whenever man,<\/em> embraces<\/strong> his human identity first <\/em>as being just a frail, weak, fickle<\/em>, and broken cracked pot, hewn, and fashioned by the hands of his loving Father, Abba (my Papa<\/em>), then and only then can he FULLY REST and DRAW LIFE from HIS TRUE IDENTITY\u2026 CHRIST IN HIM.<\/strong>
